Why is this guy smiling?

Because he just won the Manhattan Mini Storage Extreme Apartment Makeover Sweepstakes! Meet Ben Raffalli, a 21-year-old student and aspiring actor who’s studying musical theater. Ben lives with two roommates in a very cluttered apartment in Chelsea. But after entering and winning our contest on Facebook, that apartment is about to get a lot less cluttered, because we’re giving Ben a free Personal Closet and free monthly apartment cleanings for an entire year!

Needless to say, Ben is thrilled.

“I originally lived in Harlem when I first moved here from Boston,” he tells us. “So moving all the way down to Chelsea where I am now, there was quite a bit of stuff that didn’t fit in my apartment. So it’s useful to have this.”

Ben went on to describe the challenges of living with two friends — a man and a woman — in a Manhattan apartment: “With three people in their early 20s, it does get a little bit messy, especially between two boys. We drive our other roommate a little crazy. Also, we have a lot of furniture that the previous tenants had left that we don’t necessarily want, so combined with all the stuff I have, this will really help us clear up some space in there. I’m very, very excited to have won this!”

Congratulations, Ben!
