We received an awesome letter yesterday that we wanted to share with our readers. Brooklyn’s annual Score! PopUp Swap took place (attendees bring their old clothes, books, etc, to the event and drop them at the door then have the option to browse each department and take as much as they can carry!) It was a fundraiser for the Global Inheritance and Manhattan Mini Storage is always happy to pitch in for a worthy cause – so we donated what we do best (boxes and storage space)!

See the letter we got from one of their organizers, Amy Butterworth, below and visit their site for some amazing pics of the day!

Wow. This past Saturday was absolutely EPIC.  We wanted to extend a huge thank-you for your support of this recent Score! Pop-Up Swap. The event was a tremendous success, and would not have been possible without the storage space and boxes provided by Manhattan Mini Storage.

Over 1,500 people came out BKLYN Yard, 3000 lbs of items were donated to charity, and we were able to raise funds for the 401c3 organization Global Inheritance. Event feedback has been overwhelmingly positive: we saw hundreds of smiling faces at the event, and have since read dozens of tweets @scoreswap about the records, shoes, books, keyboards, and bikes that people scored. Photographer Jared Gonzalez has some very early pics of the event here, if you’d like to see http://bit.ly/cHGE8l

Thanks right back at you Amy, and everyone at Score! Pop up Swap, for giving us at Manhattan Mini Storage a chance to help out.
